I've been doing web work in Regina, Saskatoon and Saskatchewan since 1999. I celebrated my 10th year in 2009!

Cost
My rate is typically less expensive than most competitors that provide the equivalent products & services, with the equivalent experience and project time line milestone dates. I choose high-value, cost-efficient second party products and services as well.

Easy Website Updates
I promote creating websites that you can manage and maintain yourself, without having to buy expensive\technical software, and without needing technical people, or even technical knowledge. All you need is your web browser.

Once I create your website, you simply login and use an interface that is similar to any word processor that you are used to - upload pictures, add links and information, format your text, etc. These websites are called Content Management Systems (CMS).

Support
Having a smaller company work for you allows for faster, friendlier service. Once we are done with your website project, I`ll be here again if you need help, although you likely won`t need it (see below).

Documentation and Training
My CMS websites all come with training and documentation, so you have a chance to ask questions and we can review the interface on how to add and modify your pictures, information, and more.

The documentation is there for later for when you forget how to maintain your website.

The Truth
I'll let you know exactly what solutions I can provide for your project request. Many companies reply to a request with a "yes" when they really mean "no", "maybe", or "I don't know".

Local Company
I promote spending money locally or regionally, to support those economies. When you spend you money locally with me, I in turn spend my money locally as well.

Well, without getting into alot of detail, I wanted to give my 2 cents on the latest operating system from Microsoft. My rating is a comparitive one against Vista, as I have always had a love-hate relationship with Microsoft and their products.

This OS operates faster than Vista, and seems to handle things alot better in general. If you are using Vista, save the rest of your hair and upgrade. It will be worth it. Unless all you do is surf the net and email (and do not use any Microsoft specific software), then I would say buy a Mac.

Still using Windows XP? Well if you are not having any trouble, stay updated with the operating system updates and wait to upgrade until 2011.

Using a Mac? Perhaps Linux? Other alternative OS? Cudos to you; I wish I could just use a one of these alone.

On that note, I find it humourous that as time goes on, Windows continues to be created more and more with a Mac interface in mind.

The Regina Farmers' Market needed a fully integrated website that would incorporate content management, our new logo, our seasonal changes of locations, a large roster of vendors, and frequent news items. We needed a designer that could make an attractive, enticing website. We needed a designer that understood our need to market to our consumer base of 5/7 women with families and busy careers. Zee Bee Honey recommended their website designer, Conrad Schultz of Topwater.ca.

As Manager of the Regina Farmers' Market, it would be my job to work closely with Conrad and learn from him how to update the site. He developed a gorgeous site that integrated all the qualities that we desired for our Market. He was personable, hard working, and always on time. His easy manner made it simple to get across what I expected from the site, how I wanted it to be a place that the Regina public would keep going back to. He trained me how to operate the site, update vendor information, add news articles, and send out newsletters. The templates for the look of the site he developed were intensive; they used all four seasons which will change at specific times of the year along with our seasonal location changes from indoor to outdoor.

This is one of the most complicated types of sites any designer could do; previous designers became stumped on the vendor listing as some vendors may sell as many as 5 different products. Conrad found a simple solution for this challenge. He listed their types of products in the Metadata information on each vendor, which are simple to change if necessary and listed the vendors in an appropriate manner. Reginafarmersmarket.ca will be used as a crucial modern tool in promoting the old ways of farming and buying local.

Of course we are a non-profit organization without the benefit of huge budgets for Marketing and Advertising. Conrad's quote was fair and fit nicely into our budget. The Market membership was impressed with the final result, and with Conrad's professionalism. He has created one of the busiest sites in Regina. I cannot thank him enough for the job he did beyond what we even imagined our website could be. I would give him nothing less than a glowing recommendation for his work on reginafarmersmarket.ca.
